Call for Submissions: GIS Day Project Gallery
Do you use GIS in your research or teaching? Have you created any innovative or creative projects with GIS that you’d like to share? We want to hear from you!
As part of GIS Day 2024 at the CUNY Graduate Center, we want to curate a GIS Project showcase / online gallery to see the groundbreaking work of students and faculty across the university. This is your chance to promote and feature your projects, whether they contribute to research, pedagogy, or community engagement.
Submit Your GIS Projects!
We welcome submissions from all disciplines and departments that highlight the innovative use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Whether your project is complete or in-progress, in research or teaching, we encourage you to participate!
How to Submit:
– Please submit your project details using this form by November 10th, 2024.
– Submit a brief description (up to 250 words) of your project, along with any relevant visuals (maps, screenshots, videos).
– Projects can range from creative classroom uses of GIS to research-driven applications.
– Multidisciplinary and collaborative projects are highly encouraged.
