With this announcement of our 20th annual Summer Language Program, we would like to let you know that we are adding Spanish and Mandarin Chinese to the courses we regularly offer: French, German, Latin, Classical Greek, Modern Standard Arabic, Biblical Hebrew, and New Testament Greek. We also have an Early Bird Registration option. With full payment by May 1, 2015, the total fee is $850, instead of the normal $950. To qualify for this option, applicants must enter the EB discount code SLP15Q37 on their enrollment form or in other correspondence with the Erasmus Academy office. This code is also on the enclosed flyer.
These “rapid reading,” intensive, 8-week online courses cover a year of college instruction. They are designed for graduate or college students, or other adults preparing for the proficiency exams or desiring to conduct research in the language. The focus is on reading and translation. The classes are taught in real time. That is, students log on at specific times and interact directly with the Instructor and their other classmates.
During April and early May, 2015, our instructors will be giving free sample lessons. Students may find the dates, times and the links to these sample lessons online by going to our website: www.erasmusacademy.com<http://www.erasmusacademy.com/>, and clicking on the “Free Sample Lessons.” Students can thereby experience taking a language course online in real time and meet our instructors.
