The Canadian Society for Renaissance Studies / Société Canadienne d’études de la Renaissance invites current and new members from within as well as beyond our national borders to join us at our annual conference to be held next year in Calgary, Alberta May 28-30, 2016.  We invite proposals for 20-minute papers or for panels (consisting of three papers) in either English or French on any Renaissance topic in a variety of disciplines, including literature, history, philosophy, music, art history, bibliography, history of medicine, cultural studies, gender, and history of science, or any combination of disciplines applicable to this historical period. Many sessions will be organized in collaboration with other disciplinary societies. Proposals are due January 1, 2016. La Société Canadienne d’études de la Renaissance / Canadian Society for Renaissance Studies  invite ses membres et futurs membres, du Canada et  d’ailleurs à participer à son colloque annuel, qui se tiendra l’an prochain à   Calgary, Alberta du 28 au 30 mai 2016 dans le cadre du Congrès Annuel de la Fédération Canadienne des Sciences Humaines. Nous acceptons les propositions de communications ou de sessions (3 propositions) en français et en anglais, sur tout sujet touchant la Renaissance (littérature, histoire, philosophy, musique, histoire de l’art, bibliographie, histoire de la médecine, culture, études de genres, histoire des sciences ou toute combinaison de disciplines applicables à cette période historique. Plusieurs sessions seront organisées en collaboration avec d’autres sociétés disciplinaires. Les soumissions doivent nous parvenir avant le 1er janvier 2016.
