The Society for the Study of Women in the Renaissance will hold its November meeting on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at the CUNY Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Avenue at 34th Street, in room C201.
Sara E. Diaz  (Italian Languages & Literatures, Fairfield University)  will speak on “Women and Comedy in Seventeenth-Century Florence: Margherita Costa’s The Buffoons.”  (See attachment for more information.)
The meeting will begin with wine and cheese at 6 p.m.; the talk will start at 6:15. Afterwards, all are welcome to join us for dinner at a local restaurant.
