Call for papers-Rutgers Italian Graduate Society-La Fusta-"The Edible Complex"

The Edible Complex
>
>     La Fusta, the digital journal of Italian Studies edited by the graduate students of the Italian Department at Rutgers University, is now welcoming submissions (in English or Italian).
>
>         The Spring 2017 issue will focus on “The Edible Complex” to enrich the discussion and examination of who we are, if we are what we eat. Gastronomy is a component of the widespread tendency to construct differences. In fact, a complex gastronomy lies behind food habits and contributes to the production of national, regional, and local identities, and socioeconomic differences.
>

We also welcome a paper that assesses the historical and contemporary food trends across the globe.
