Princeton University: Lecturer in Italian (Part-time)

The Department of French and Italian is seeking to appoint a part-time Lecturer in Italian for Fall 2017, to teach a range of language courses in a dynamic undergraduate program committed to innovation and excellence. Part-time appointments are made on as-needed per-term basis, starting September 1, 2017, with possibility of renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance and approval of the Dean of Faculty.  Review of applications will begin in August and continue until the position is filled.
 
Essential qualifications:
 
Native or near-native fluency in Italian and English, proven experience teaching Italian as a Foreign Language at university level, excellent teaching credentials. Enrollment in a PhD program required; Ph.D. preferred.  Experience in integration of new technologies and curriculum development. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in Italian as a Foreign Language and/or Applied Linguistics. This position is subject to the University’s background check policy.
